How to Trade Australian Bank Bills
I used to trade Australian bank bills in butterfly or double-water fly structures. I've sort of moved away from that in the last year, year and a half. The rangers have started to compact a little bit. Australia was pretty late to the party in terms of having HFT and computerised and algorithmic trading come into our market because we're one basis point to a point as opposed to say bonds might be seven or eight. And I made a decision to move to more so quantitative and statistical based trading in line with the people that I'm competing against.
