The Return of War in the UN

I don't think Ukraine is a new development in terms of what I call the return of war. It's been allowed for a while. The UN performed this immeasurably important task, which was overseeing the decolonization of the former European colonial empires. Then it kind of got shut down by the Cold War at the time of Vietnam and then the Cold War ended so it, the Union collapsed. And people like, which was God, we thought, well, we can have a new beginning for the UN. But now it's been in effect, shut down again, starting with Iraq, not starting with Ukraine.
