Do You Care About the Kids in Oklahoma?

Human nature is obsessed with what's right in front of us. We might care deeply about our children, or our immediate loved ones and the friends that we see every day. But as soon as you start to get to like, do you care about the kids in oklahoma? I mean, assuming you don't live there, or, like, a different continent, the more removed it is, the harder it is to care. And since there are so many, it doesn't seem very likely that i can actually do much about any of them if i'm trying to embrace all of them.
