Public Health Interventions Are Not as Good as Their Execution
Public health interventions are not assessed based on their actual performance in the real world. Instead, they're assessed based on the idea that if you don't adhere to them, you are an immoral person. So this seems like a very clear way that we've been observing is a kind of reversion to precisely what, you know, science is supposed to avoid: moralizing of natural processes.
