Professor Ali Bame's group has developed a way to measure wastewater levels of COVID and other diseases in order to follow progress of the pandemic. They have amazing quantitative accuracy in the amount and they can see changes in the virus as it evolves. In this segment, Ali will tell us how she got started with this project and also she'll tell us how it's been trying to get other wastewater companies beyond her initial collaborators to adopt this technology.
