Tipping was simple back when I was there, right? When you go to restaurants, you tip about 15 percent. But now it's taken on clearly other dimensions. 25 percent is an expected service tip now in the United States. So if I let's say a family goes out and like order a dinner for $100, you would be expected to end up paying 125 at least more. That's a lot of money. And that's why they're dependent upon their tips as part of their wage. You know my parents are very frugal... They don't spend a lot of unnecessary money. My mom has always been generous with tipping because her aunt used to work in restaurants before
