Final Fantasy 10 - How Did That Happen?

We were messing around with the Final Fantasy 10 style turn system and we were trying to figure out some way to make it actually interesting and work. In general I struggle with like having an AI that's trying to mimic being a human and then your job is to beat the AI who's by pretending that you're a better strategist than the AI. That was like happened at the very beginning of development so like you know five years ago or whatever. We basically found out that it allows you to interact with the enemy regardless of what they're doing.
