Lucas: The Academy wants to make sure that theaters are around. And, you know, for 80 something years, the Academy said, okay, we have films and theaters and we have films that are on television. Lucas: Netflix is just like everybody else. They just have a different distribution model. He says he'd love to see at least in Los Angeles where they'll have like, they'll have theaters that show the Oscar nominated shorts or like they'll show the documentaries for a week.
