i think that having an expectation about how your ten years are supposed to be is kind of setting yourself up for failure. Even somebody who had an incredible tenage experience still probably had some really shady moments. And i think that actually the pressure on tenagers to live their best life actually makes their life more miserable. When you're living life with this expectation and with this pressure to make the most of something, it ends up siking you out to a point where you can't even enjoy yourself.
