Do the States Have the Power to Set Vaccines?

Conservative justices indicated that while they believe states may have power to set vaccine requirements, the federal government must clear a much higher standard. Chief justice john roberts suggested should probably be a decision for congress rather than federal agencies. Associate justice ellen cagan asserted it is federal agencies, not the courts, that have the expertise to make decisions about fighting disease. Three liberal justices pushed hard on both the need for americans to get cove 19 vaccinations, and what they said is the federal government's authority to try to mitigate the danger of cove 19 poses in the workplace and to the national economy.
