The Importance of Storytelling as an Angel Investor

As a founder, storytelling is probably one of the most important qualities and one that's often underrated by founders themselves. It's why I think selling the purpose is just such a big part of selling to angel investors. And it's what's going to inspire your team during the rough times when maybe you flat-lined for a few months or had a setback from a product perspective. Storytelling as a leader, incredibly important. The ability to tell a great story about your company is what’s going to enable you to raise capital in the first place but also help you hire senior people who might leave better jobs at more successful startups.
