Dr. Mucktar, what clinical data should inform our decision-making regarding operating on the primary breast tumor in the setting of metastatic disease? Thanks Alexa. There have been a number of retrospective analyses looking at this question as well as several randomized control trials that have been done over the last 10 to 15 years or so. The problem with these large data sets where you're looking retrospectively is that there's just a huge amount of selection bias. So most likely surgeons were operating on patients who had a better likelihood of living longer.
