The Vedas as we know them, are in the form that we know them by about 1000 BC. They are related to rituals, which the Brahmans execute. Divine energy is channeled to the purposes of the Brahmans. These sayings, these magical sayings are called mantras. The Bayh-Gavann says there is no break between the laws of nature and the laws of the society.
