Encouraging Consistency and Practicality in Scripture Memory for Children

 Earnest Christian parents are eager to begin discipling their children. However, we tend to have a romanticized or idealized image of it all. After the evening meal, the family will gather for instruction in the ways of the Lord. The children will sit quietly and soak up biblical teaching like a sponge. The reality proves different. Children are easily distracted and sometimes fight the very instruction they need. What do we do? This episode will discuss working with your youngest memorizers (preschoolers).
