The Importance of Large Vascular Imaging in GCA

The way that we're diagnosing a GCA right now, the majority of us are doing temporal artery biopsies. We really should be getting baseline large vessel imaging in these patients with GCA. Extracranial involvement has seen an up to 80% of GCA patients. By the time you're hearing some of the breweries, some of the damage has already been done. How do we diagnose it? Now in my pre-learn slides, I went into a lot more detail on the different imaging modalities for evaluating large vessel involvement in GCA.
