The goal of training is to become a faster runner when you race. As your fitness grows, your easy effort, pace range might also grow. You may have some days that are legitimately easy and a faster pace range than they used to be. So don't be alarmed. Just focus on keeping the effort easy as your body gains aerobic fitness again.
