The idea of industrial policy begin to seep into our public policy debate. The closest thing the new right has to a senator is JD Vance, and he just scored a political victory in getting this railway safety bill approved by the Senate. And you can now see that there's a certain view of American history that should be placed into the American classroom. I mean, it's taken root in Florida.
