What a Gift Each Day
Every one of these days is a day that you have given to us as a free gift. All you ask is that we receive it with gratitude and thanksgiving, knowing that none of these days are anything that any of us have ever deserved. Proverbs: A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man despises his mother. The way of a sluggard is overgrown with thorns, but the path of the upright is a level highway. And so please, lord god, help us to receive this day as your gift, ah, days of difficulty and days of blessing. But also us to use this day. Help us to lift up our brothers and sisters.
