Is There a Longevity Angle to Bluetooth Headphones?
The line gives you longevity to the product like right long after the electronics of this product are outdated and they no longer run the latest version of audio OS. It also does lock you in not even longevity wise but it's certainly a hundred percent locks you into the apple ecosystem. You can certainly surmise maybe there's some amount of product marketing spite for lack of a better word that it's designed to only work with it as opposed to airpods, which do work as generic bluetooth headphones if you want them to.
