How to Facilitate Self-Regulation in Relationships

People who are really good at self-regulating tend to use their self-regulation skills strategically in order to build relationships that are good. And then they let those relationships be like the cloud they float on for the rest of the time. So what I'm hearing you say is that the disconnection or the self, maybe not disconnection, but even self connection to the self instead of with others, that's really utilized to support and make better the connection with others. Right. Even though it might require a little more investment on your part, but that investment over the long term means you'll work even less hard than most because your relationship will carry you.
