Microsoft and Oracle's Successes

Microsoft was almost unique among tech companies even to this day in having multiple successful products. The typical tech company at that era and still many of them today have one product that is you know, 80% of revenue and 120% of profits because everything else they do loses money. Oracle's a company that has tried to do other stuff and by acquisitions, they've added some things that I think have worked out for them. But it was very difficult in much earlier Euro Lotus 123 was the dominant spreadsheet.
