Writing for Yourself or Writing About Yourself?
I don't agree with that at all. You've got to know who you're writing for. And if you don't know, you find out. I think when i was a stand up you could try a joke out that night and see if it worked and then change it. But as is a script writer, or a novelist, or any kind of writer, that just involves sitting lonely hours in your attic trying to write something,. It's not until that moment of going out into the world that you have any idea what it's going to be interpreted by anyway. So, yor but jonathanhe, he gives the impression that he doesn't care.
