The Importance of Data in Classification Research
The classification research community needs to provide data. That's pretty straightforward if you want to make change. And then the question of what sort of data you're going to do. If you want to propose a change to criteria, are you going to do it based on one clinic experience, two clinic experience or your colleagues' experience? You can get very granular about how you approach phenotyping. But large data gives you the opportunity to field test whether something makes broad sense.
