The Joy of Being a Marine Corp Base Camper

In the movie, you still need to have some element of that decisiveness on the part of a drill sergeant. Not everybody who enters marine corps boot camp or army basic training is going to relate and understand under a single directorial instructor style. I am constantly bringing people back to that sense of innate satisfaction in doing something that's just cool for its own sake. This is such a huge part of this too. One can learn all the skills that you want to give us, but if the joy's not there, it can be tough. That's got to be there where it's kind of half way done.
