i think that it really just comes down to getting yourself out of your comfort zone, doing things by yourself. The thing with work friends is, once you leave that work place, it's often very hard to stay in touch as much as you would. You kind of have to find yto um pass that like, gap between being a pure work, work colleague and being an actual friend that you catch up with - though often at once.
