The Elite and the Economy of France

I think France would benefit tremendously from having more firms rather than a country driven by three or four global firms that are basically calling the shots on every policy and political decision. So if it was not for these political challenges, which when elected in 2017, Macron had promised to address, I think France would be in a great economic and political position. Sadly, I think we're held back by these forces. The ruling elite has too much comfort in the current organization of the system,. doesn't want to lose grip over economic and political power.
