The Importance of Religious Infrastructures in Conflict and Violence
The book looks at the infrastructures on which religious practices and also a sense of religious communities depend. And if those places or other objects that are important to particular groups are destroyed or harmed in situations of conflict, this may also influence conflict situations. So religion for us is not just power but it's complicated relationships that people have with each other around certain discourses and around certain materiality.
