Is the Bank of Japan Going to Ease the Yield Curve?
The Bank of Japan moved to raise its inflation target by 25 bips. The move is not a sign that the bank will ease, says Eric Schlossberg. But it does show they are willing to act in some sort of shift from their yield curve control. That could lead to yen appreciating more than 100 per cent against the dollar.
