The Power of Prophecy

A lot of times it becomes a laziness where we just want to hear a word from God rather than really take the time to study what he's already written. And how can we ever discern if something we think we heard from the Lord is really from the Lord unless we really know this book? The Bible says these words are living and active and they're sharper than a two-edged sword. Like somehow reading the words of this book man there's a power in it.
