The Importance of Research in Writing About Diane in the Asylum
I think I did do a lot of research more than, you know, the way one does research. The closest hospital to here, I live in LA in Santa Monica, and the closest hospital that's still operating is called Metropolitan Hospital which is little over an hour away. So I went down there a number of times and talked to all kinds of people and saw a lot of things. But ended up really getting to know three particular or her employers, two employees, two nurses,. they're all tired now because they were, they sort of had their careers during this period.
