The Power of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is not in the teachings of Jesus just brushing wrongdoing under the rug or ignoring it by saying, it wasn't that big of a deal I forgive you. That's not Christian forgiveness. Forgive us our debts as we've forgiven our debtors. In Jesus' view, forgiveness takes one to give up their right to retaliate and to say, I'm going to get even with them.
