In FDR's case, 35% of the presidents who could not win reelection were incumbents. 65% of them were incumbents who did win reelection. Life expectancy for those over 65 has gone up 10% since 1940. But Biden is still older than all of the presidents before him. He makes decisions that impact every person on the globe.
