Building Public Versus Private Relationships in the Industrial Organization

In organizing, we talk about countervailing power that's what we're doing by building broad-based organizations. That's what happens in labor movements is that the power that comes when people come together and can then hold their employer or the government or corporation accountable. I think you hit the key word as accountability. In public relationships, we should be seeking accountability, where is in our private relationships we may be looking for sincerity.
