Constitutional Issues in Relation to Slavery

In 18 62, this is a quick overview of what congress does in relationship to slavery. They 're going to pass two confiscation acts. Enslaved people were doing a lot of the work on plantations right in these areas where the enslavers had gone to fight,. And back home, the enslaved people were actually allowing these farms to continue producing. So it was very helpful as a war measure to confiscate enslaved people.
