In Malcolm's definition, we are encountered with the past and the present. Since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, the Holocaust has been on my mind all the time. As a child, I was trying to grasp the history of my father that so intensely shaped my inner world. In light of this, I can vividly sense how he lives through me, an expression of Gampel.
