What Will Happen in Beijing?
Economist John Chui said that in the next few months, China will see a mixed bag of economic indicators. Some aspects will suffer from negative impacts such as people getting sick and factories being closed or unable to run at full capacity. In the meantime, mobility and consumption could improve a little bit because the requirements for COVID tests have been dropped. A lack of customers seem to be a big problem for restaurant owners right now.
