A web designer support group is a completely different animal because it provides that like you're talking about, like instant connection. I remember multiple times i'd have something going on in a site where my co m gush, i got to get this figured out stat and the facebook in a couple of the facebook groups before i even started mine,. Like aemy butt a number of different times. Oh, all the word press conversations happened in facebook groups, yell the tuff. It was life changing for because most of the time, you would get an instant response, and more often than not, it was a good quality response.
