The Fed's Shifting Policy Narrative
The St. Louis Fed President Bullard he says quote the policy rate is not yet in a zone that may be considered sufficiently restrictive so he is pushing for higher rates. And Leo brainer she says I think it will probably be appropriate soon to move to a slower rate of rate of pace of rate increases. Atlanta Fed President Rafael Bostick he said the Fed can move away from 75 basis points. Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester she said quote I think it makes it a little bit more sense that we can slow down a bit the pace of increases. So all of these things are showing towards lower hikes but there is a little bit of back and forth.
