No two tornadoes are exactly alike. Of a hundred tornaidoes, you get 98 of em that spin clark wise. We just don't know quite how they're interacting with each other at these finite scales. I think as we get greater technology, in particular with drones, it will give us a greater capacity collect these data sets without putting humans in harm's way.
