The Roman Sword - The Gladius Sword

The gladius is one of the great swords in history. Started as a spanish sword that did so much damage against the romans they adopted it. A julius caesar's version is actually a little longer than the one that will come in the famous pire. The roman training generally insisted that they run up to the enemy's battle line and stab upward with this sword into the guts of the opponent.
