P on trying to experiment: 'I think some of these are potentially compelling because they represent very big markets' But people's willingness to buy a mission driven shoe only goes as far as they're willing to have some one see them in public with it on. So you have to be careful with mission is that if you're fighting against, especially with shoes, people's propensity to look good in them or to want to wear them. And then the kicker, no pun intended, is that you're also feeling good about yourself.
