The Covet Network - A Case Study
CNN's Jim Boulden talks with Henry Kissinger about his organization, the covet network. The group was formed in response to a global shortage of medical supplies during last year's pandemic. In 72 hours, almost a dozen volunteer engineers built an online platform that could take in information from individual hospital employees and predict how shortages would evolve over time. It then spit out recommendations to government or philanthropy where they'd actually be able to send what types of supplies for maximum impact.
