Can We Really Expect a Pay Cut?
In February, average hourly wages were up 3.1%, but inflation was up 5.7%. So we've seen this gap of more than 2% between wages and inflation. And that could possibly persist for a while because by all accounts, people who study this stuff on the inflation front, they think that we're heading for even higher inflation in the months to come.
