The Legacy of Jean-Vier De Montremer
Jean-Vier de Montremer's family had been breeding horses for over a thousand years. The French noblewoman moved to Fresno, California in the early 90s. She and her husband Dr. Michael Wylert purchased a 15-acre ranch northeast of the city where they housed over a million dollars worth of friezyan horses. Jean-Vier fell into a coma, then died on November 30th, 2007. Her body was taken back to France where her heart was removed and placed in the cathedral as part of an ancient family ritual.
