Hoyt does seem to have some interaction with the Midnight Spores in this story, and maybe other spores as well. And I'm just wondering, why did Hoyt give Midnight Spores to weave in the first place? How does he know about these star patterns? Is he the one who carved them? If he didn't, who did? What do they signify?
