The Effects of Exercise on Bone Resorption

CTX is the primary marker of bone breakdown that we use. It's a biomarker of bone resorption. We saw a decrease in serum calcium, we saw an increase in PTH, and we saw an increased in CTX. The other thing that we learned was that, you know, anytime you go on exercise, especially somewhat vigorously, there's a contraction of plasma volume.
