Influx DB is a cloud-based version of the open source database system. The company was founded in 2010 and has since raised more than $100 million from investors, including Microsoft's co-founder Paul O'Neill. Influx recently announced that it will be selling its services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of an alliance with Rackspace.
