The Farewell, You Know?

i just would question the need for some really dramatic plot. i watch so many of these films, and i'm like, this is incredible that he's not doing the thing that 99 out of a hundred film makers would do. And when he rejacts thate, he feels like, whe all my films are optimistic, they're hopeful. But maybe the reason that people feel the most with nausica is because it has, what he says is a catharsis at the end.
