The Importance of Representing Girls Who Are Tough
The first tweet to coined the girl failure was posted by Rory at Rick Shaddie and they wrote, enough girl bosses, I need girl failures. They're all kind of adjacent terminology to describe a woman who doesn't have her life together. All of this comes out because women are just tired of always optimizing in the words of Geotillentino. For the last 10 or so years, women have just been expected to be productive in any way possible. So it's really not surprising to me that all this discourse about being a femme cell and being a feral girl and being a girl failure.
