The Importance of Giving Up Non-Essentials

God is calling us to give up the non-essentials of our lives so we can better invest our wealth in the kingdom of God. To start, I challenge believers to lay aside at least one dollar a day to help support a national missionary in the two-thirds world. Many are going beyond this end without affecting health or happiness by helping sponsor several missionaries every month. Some cannot give more financially but they can invest time in prayer and help recruit more sponsors.
